Wedding Cookie Table - Let your guests pick their favorite cookies in a to go box! Great fun for guests and can be done on the cheap.
Wedding Cookie Table, Tips & Ideas
A scrumptious wedding cookie table is a fantastic wedding favor for guests and is sure to be lots of fun and well appreciated! After all, who doesn't love a cookie!
Choose cookies that you can make using basically the same ingredients. Chocolate chip (with and without nuts), peanut butter with a Reece's Peanut Butter cup center, Oatmeal with white chocolate and / or Craisins, and Snicker doodles. The cookies were all different, but you do not have to buy any off the wall ingredients... a drop cookie is easiest. Make the cookies smaller than average. It will stretch the dough, and made it easier to put in the boxes.
Budget 4 to 6 cookies per guest.
For the dough, you can make it up a week before the wedding and put it in the freezer, you can freeze cookie dough. Take the dough out of the freezer the night before baking.
Recruit a few people to help you bake, For presentation put the cookies in cute containers. Place handmade signs on each container to identify the cookies.
