Enjoy period music December 26 and 31.  At Jamestown Settlement, holiday films and guided tours compare & contrast English Christmas customs of the period with how the season was observed in the difficult early years of the Jamestown colony. At the Yorktown Victory Center, hear accounts of the Holiday & winter in military encampments during the American The museums are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily year-round; closed on Christmas and New Year's days.

Williamsburg Choral Guild Christmas Concert

  The Williamsburg Choral Guild’s annual concert which is a gift to the community, a family-friendly presentation of Christmastime favorites, with performances, on 12/8 at 2:30 and 5:00 p.m. The James River Brass joins the chorus in renditions of traditional Christmas carols and songs that help celebrate the holidays.

Concert to be held at  King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4897 Longhill Rd., Williamsburg. In lieu of admission, attendees are invited to bring nonperishable food items to share with local outreach Centers.  For more information call (757) 220-1808

Dean Shostak’s Crystal Carols

In this popular Christmas concert, you will discover the unique sounds of holiday music played on glass instruments. Dean Shostak showcases his skills on the glass harmonica, invented by Benjamin Franklin, and a variety of new and antique glass instruments from around the world.
